Hi I’m Kirstyn, a.k.a Nutmeg.

Hi, I’m Kirstyn, the designer behind Nutmeg Creative – where paper, personality, and perfectly considered design come together. I started my business in 2017, driven by a lifelong love of stationery, pens and a not-so-subtle obsession with detail. (I was one of those kids that collected all the pretty pens and paper but didn’t want to use them, just in case I ruined them!)

Since then, I’ve had the joy of working with so many lovely couples and local businesses to create everything from wedding invitation suites and on-the-day details, to professional signage, labels, menus, posters and more. I work with a trusted network of local printers both here in Adelaide and interstate, depending on the needs of each job.

From invitations  and on-the day details, the business signage, product labels, menus & posters, I’m all about the thoughtful touches that help bring your day to life – whether it’s for a wedding day, an event, or the everyday moments that matter to you or your brand.

When I’m not elbow-deep in paper samples or packaging up orders, you’ll find me hanging out with my two Cavoodles (aka my studio supervisors) or enjoying a well-earned glass of wine.

And why ‘Nutmeg’?

Nutmeg (or Meg, for short) was one of my dogs growing up, and she’ll always hold a special place in my heart. While I have two Cavoodles of my own now, I couldn’t possibly choose just one to name the business after, so Nutmeg felt like the perfect nod to where it all began.
